Best Infinity Car Speakers

Upgrading your car’s audio system can be quite enjoyable because of the customizable options that you have. You can either go for a full upgrade, add something like a subwoofer, or simply just replace the speakers.

That’s usually one of the best and easiest options out there, a solid option for DIY beginners and an immediate speaker upgrade to any vehicle.

Today, we’re going to be reviewing the 10 best Infinity car speakers to find one that is right for you. Obviously, choosing the perfect one is dependent on your budget and type of car, but with so many options out there there is surely one that will work for you.

Infinity REF6522IX Speakers

These 6.5-inch speakers are some of the best we’ve seen and are easy to install in just about any vehicle. They are made from high-quality components so you know you’re getting a durable, reliable product that will stick with your car in the long run.

They provide awesome sound but don’t quite have the frequency range of other speakers in the same class. Other users have also noticed some distortion when played at a high level but overall, they’re an absolute steal at this price point.

Infinity Kappa 62IX

Another set of 6.5-inch speakers, the Kappa model shine because of their power handling ability. Rated at 75 RMS and the ability to reach 225 peak power, you’ll get plenty of great sound from these bad boys. We particularly loved the tight bass and the ability to sound amazing, even at high volumes.

While these speakers come at a higher price point, many dedicated audio heads said that they couldn’t notice a huge difference in sound after installation. These complaints were few and far between though, and we believe they possess a solid sound that you will enjoy from the first moment.

Infinity Kappa 60.11CS

The first thing we noticed about these speakers while browsing over their specs was just the amount of raw power they had. Both speakers are rated at 270 Watts RM which is amazing for these component speakers. In addition, they use Plus One cone technology and a rubber surround to generate plenty of airflow and keep the music pumping no matter what.

One of the main complaints we saw and read about was the installation. With a plastic frame, you’re just not going to get the great sound you would with other speakers. Plus, there was a lot of rattling which brings into question these speakers’ durability. Coming at such a high price point, you would think these speakers would be made to last longer.

Infinity Kappa-93iX

These speakers are three-way speakers and come built with very high-quality components for great sound all around. You may not get the amount of bass you want, but you’re going to be getting clear highs and great vocals no matter what music you throw on. Installation was plenty easy and many DIYers said the process didn’t take them very long to complete. They also come with plenty of new technology to give it a sleek design and proper feel.

It’s worth noting that a few users complained that after a few months of use one of the speakers blew out but once again, these reviews weren’t too common. But with such a serious issue, we thought it would be worth mentioning.

Infinity Reference 9633IX

If you’re looking for some great bass to come out of your speakers, then the Infinity Reference model will work perfectly for you. With an oversized Plus One woofer, there’s a lot more surface area to draw in plenty of airflow and plenty of loud bass. With the newly engineered baskets, these speakers can fit into just about any location out there. They also have high sensitivity for better overall music production.

The biggest complaint we have with these is that they weren’t very easy to install. Despite being advertised to fit into just about every model, we found that this just wasn’t the case. Some users agreed, saying how they weren’t able to get it to fit in their vehicle.

Infinity Reference 6532IX

These speakers are made with high-quality components, like the polypropylene woofer and rubber surround. Their power is just OK but is enough for most types of music, save rap or heavy metal. But overall, they provide excellent sound and you will notice an instant upgrade in just a few moments. If you really want these speakers to shine, you’re going to have to purchase an external amplifier which may be a bit of an obstacle for some users.

The biggest gripe we’ve had, and what seems to be somewhat of a custom with Infinity products, is that the installation was confusing and difficult. The instructions have little information that could help and we believe that most people will have to take them to a professional in order to have them installed correctly.

Infinity REF-6522ix

This set of speakers is actually four, coming with two pairs of 6.5 speakers. While you won’t get the same sound as you might with a component set, theses coaxial speakers do more than enough. They have plenty of power to play any music and give plenty of bass as well. Their sensitivity is just OK, but we can’t complain for the great quality music we were able to listen to on a regular basis. They also come with speaker grilles, a nice little touch.

We don’t have any huge complaints about these, besides a tricky installation. They’re simply speakers that get the job done and provide a quick upgrade to your vehicle.

Infinity PR9613IS

This pair of speakers is a cheaper option for those wanting to provide an upgrade to their car without breaking the bank. That also means they are optimal for any beginners out there who want a taste of what better audio is. We found they were quite easy to install and had good sound quality overall. In a way, that’s their curse as they don’t particularly shine in one specific area.

If you’re looking for really deep, punchy bass then you might want to skip over these. They’re going to be an upgrade over your current system for sure but they’re not going to blow you away.

Infinity Kappa 60CSX

These may be our favorite speakers on the entire list. From their top-quality components and tested durability, these speakers can handle anything you throw at them for hours. These speakers have to go a rigorous testing process, including being baked, frozen, and blasted with ultraviolet light. No matter what conditions you find yourself in, these speakers will be able to stand up to the test. They also provide a clear, punchy bass that we know everyone is looking for.

Most people had to purchase an external amp to really get these speakers to show off, but that can be positive or negative. Other than that, we really don’t have any other big complaints.

Infinity Reference 6432CFX

Last, on our list are some other budget speakers for those not looking to spend a fortune. Even coming at a lower price, they are made with top-quality materials and an engineered basket to give them the best sound possible. We found they fit into almost all vehicles and can be easily modified to fit your needs.

The sound isn’t exactly going to blow you away, but once again you get what you pay for in the car speaker industry. If you’re looking for a quick upgrade, then these are a great set of speakers.

Closing Thoughts

There are lots of different Infinity speaker options on this list that can fit many different vehicles and needs. Finding the ideal set of speakers largely depends on what you’re looking for. If you want top-quality bass and sound, then you’re going to have to pay the price. If you’re looking for a simple upgrade to your car’s audio system, then you can go with one of the budget options. Good luck shopping out there!
